Desperately Seeking Alex fundraiser at Manchester’s Greenroom
Twenty-nine-year-old Stockport man Alex Humphrey vanished on 14 August near a beauty spot in Panama. His family and friends (folkingcoolsters among them) are doing all they can to find him.
Now you too can help raise money and enjoy an eclectic folk night in the process.
Desperately Seeking Alex is all set for 15 Jan 2010, 7pm, Greenroom, Whitworth Street, Manchester.
It will be an eclectic poetry and arts fund-raising event with proceeds helping the family continue searching for Alex, donated towards a children’s charity in Panama and also to the school where Alex worked.
Come along for a fabulous evening of poetry performances and open-mic music, burlesque dancers, classical quartet, DJ, quality raffle prizes, free glittery cakes and a chance to bid for wonderful auction prizes including:
